SoundFont problem

Here's the situation:
System configuration:
AMD Athlon XP 1700+
512 MB RAM
Kx powered (3537) Audigy 2 Platinum
WinXP Pro SP1

I'm using a 136 MB SF2 bank. There wasn't any problem using it with the "Creative" drivers. I noticed that the polyphony is very limited....many notes are dropping out, sometimes only one channel of a stereo sample is audible.

I also noticed some kind of noise at the midi-output. I tried to record a .wav using the midi-output with this SoundFont. When recording a 44100/16 .wav, the recording vu-meters show -inf value during silent passages, or when not triggering any MIDI note. As I choose 96000/24 for the .wav file properties, the vu-meters show a constant noise around -85 Db, only in the left channel. However, the right channel value is not -inf, too - it's about -100Db or less. I normalized that "noise", and it's graph looked like a square wave.

Well,....any explanations, and hopefully solutions for this?
