I want to record with Sound forge
Hello
I want to record a midi file playing on my synth with Sound forge 7 I have an audigy card - and downloaded the KX drivers I have installed soundfonts samples which are playing fine i have learned with a lot of difficulties the internal of the KxDSP -mixer and router I have been able to swap the different inputs and outputs But it is impossible for me to route the sound output from the synth to the sound forge program. I have done it in the past - with sonar I have chosen both option foir input microsoft sound mapper and my Audigy KX wave sb0092 0/1 so any one with similar problem encountered help me ? Or is it not possible to record with sound forge directly I am using windows media player to play the midi file REgards and thanks |

ok in the DSP connect fxbus 2/3 directly to the rec l/r on the epilog that should work fine for you

thanks your reply
i tried every thing - in fact connecting I directly connected the output of the 8008 8009 of the sound routing module (to check if there is sound output ) to the to the 4001 4002 input of the epilog so there was sound ... I also conneted the synth outout directly to the 400e 400f record output No sound recorded in sound forge I do not know where sound forge is taking its input from . its quite confusing is there something regarding the analogue mixer ? i understand the synth signal is purely digital so does not depend on the input |
