problem with cubase sx loading soundfonts
I'm a new kx user. I'm having problems with soundfonts in cubase. I use in particular drum kit soundfonts. Loaded the banks through the kx panel, in cubase I can only play ONE bank choosing the channel 10 in the track.
Don't know if the problem is in the settings or because the banks I use are not properly banks but single instruments. With creative drivers i could load on each cubase track a different soundfont bank. Any suggestion is welcome... __________ amd duron 1,60 GHz 1 GB RAM XP professional sp1 kx3537 audigy 2 zs platinum |

Thanks Samir,
I ve already tried but the situation is even worst!. I loaded KXSFI in the vst instrument panel. I choose KXSFI for midi output in the devices menu. Loaded a couple of soundfont banks (TAMAROCKSTAR.SF2, Roland_TD10_Woody.sf2)but I cant get any sound out of my midi track. In the track I have in: all Midi inputs out: KXSFI if i set : channel:1 in the program window I can see the bank's name ( bank00) Tama Rock Star but all the instruments are "empty" ... could it depend on a wrong DSP setting? thanks for your time |

Of course it could be wrong DSP setting...
For test only: 1. Load any basic GM sound font in KXsfi 2. in DSP FXbus 2 & 3 are kX synth outputs, connect them to front speakers to see if it works... Play any midi track in Cubase, it should work...
