Need Help with Multiple MIDI Inputs
I have 3 SBLive! 5.1 soundcards installed on my computer. (P3, XP Pro).
I have a MIDI interface cable plugged into each soundcard. I can only get input from keyboards recognized by one soundcard. I have been using a MIDI Merger to combine the stream, but it is failing. Any ideas on how to get the MIDI inputs recognized on the other two cards, everything else is working properly on the cards. Thanks |

Your post is quite fuzzy;
>>I have a MIDI interface cable plugged into each soundcard. So you also have 3 seperate midi keyboards/controllers attached to them? >>I can only get input from keyboards recognized by one soundcard. What "recognizes"? A sofware sequencer? >>Any ideas on how to get the MIDI inputs recognized on the other two cards.. Again, what does the "recognizion"? Please be more specific in what you are trying to achieve. Anyway; I assume you want some midi program (sequencer etc.) to recognize all 3 midi inputs. Right? If so, check if your program lists/uses all 3 midi inputs (kX Uart name[adres]). Use the (free) MIDIOX utility to check midi routings. /LeMury |
