synth problem

I have an audigy 2 card, and i installed the kx driver, everything went well, exept that when i play a midi file there´s no sound coming out of the speakers.
i´ve tryed it in guitar pro, cakewalk sonar 2 and winamp.
What could it be the problem?

P.s. I think thath the problem it's only one: MIDI DONT WORK!!WHY??

I would guess that you do not have any SoundFOnts loaded. In the mixer go into the SoundFonts and load the SoundFont that came with your card (if you do not use any others).

Hello, it seems that I am not the only one who has problems with the MIDI. I have tried different programs working with MIDI(Noteworthy Composer etc.) but none of tghem seems to work with with any of the KX synths offered by the program as a MIDI output, only the MS Wavetable synthesizer works. What could be the problem. Should I make some special routing . Did I understand well , that one has to load soundfonts to make the MIDI output operate well?
Please , help me .. Thank you..

The kX synts are hardwarebased players that plays SoundFonts from the computer´s RAM, so if you don´t load any SoundFont into the RAM via kX-tray->SoundFont - then nothing is to hear
