Midi sound quality

Finally got round to installing XP, so had to ditch my trusty APS drivers and installed KX. When I play a soundfont in Cubase- using either synth- I get some sort of feedback and it sounds as though its being played through a flanger. This never happened with APS. I'm using SBlive5.1 SB0060. I have searched this forum but can't find anything on this- is it that simple?!

Hi!

Check in the Sequencer for doubled midi in/outputs. Check for doubled output devices. Check for doubled connections in the DSP-window. It should be a configuration problem.
