Midi error with Roland VG-8

Hi,

Thanks for a great product!

It seems to work well with Emagic's Logic Audio for PC using audio tracks. I haven't tested the midi portion of Logic using it.

I have run into a bit of a problem with my Roland VG-8 tho. I use a patch librarian app called V-Library to organize my patches and load them into the VG-8. My SB Live Platinum worked flawlessly with the app previously. Then I installed the the KX drivers and loaded the patches into the VG as usual and went off to the gig.....only to find when I got there that only the first bank had loaded!!!! When I got home I tested it again by loading all banks in the librarian and transferring the whole patch set. Again, only the first bank (4 patches) gets loaded. Any thoughts on what might be happening?

Thanks,
Mike

well, this seems to be a known problem with MIDI (UART) out
[due to buffering errors]

we are working on fixing this issue, but the development is not very effective because we currently don't have any external midi device that would require uploading patches [or simply large amount of data, for instance, long SysEx messages]

we hope this issue will be fixed in the future

/Eugene
