exclamation 2 Questions: 8-bit soundfonts and Exporting midi to audio

I'm looking for some 8-bit soundfonts so I can write NES or old arcade style music.

Also, before I installed these KX drivers all I had to do to get a midi file to a mp3 or wav was play it in cakewalk, set my recording properties to record Midi, and record it using Steinberg Wavelab. Now when I look under recording options i can only select "Recording Level"... and thta won't work. Can anyone help me out please?

One way is to process existing SF's is to decomplile using SFcomp to extract the waves, then run a batch wave conversion and then recompile with SFcomp again. This would also allow you to do other lo-fi changes such as grunge, bitcrushing, bandlimiting and other audio heresy.

For recording SF, have record levels (kxmixer record levels page (red dot)) up. that is master, and Synth record level (note symbol).
And make sure your wave recorder is listening to kxwave0/1.

cheers
