midi recording
I have a soublaster audigy 2 platinum ex sound card and am running kx drivers. I am trying to use the midi out on my behringer v-amp to the midi in on the audigy drive for recordings. I have not been able to get this to work however and was wondering if someone knows of a setting somewhere that will allow me to do this. I am running a midi cable from the v-amp into the audigy and my guitar plugs into the v-amp. any ideas as to why this isnt working would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks |

Just to be clear -
Im sure you understand that, guitar sounds WILL NOT record via midi. To record the guitar sounds - you'll need to feed the audio to the audigy, not just a midi cable) - then use a sound recording app (I like sonar, cubase is popular). Ill assume you want to record the midi data tho. What V-AMP model do you have (is it the table top one??) What do you want to be recorded? (sysex dumps, knob turns/CC#) What midi sequencer do you use? |
