New SB drivers:SB 2.1?

Hi,

I just formatted my PC so I had to download and install my sound drivers again(I use the official Creative driver, not the KX driver).. When i opened Vienna and loaded some 2.1 soundfont (with modulator properties) i discovered the modulator CC's worked! So the new drivers can play SF 2.1! But when I go to Options->Preferences->Devices it says it only supports 2.0. Because of that, i can't edit the modulator properties, because Vienna things the drivers only support 2.0. Is there some way to let Vienna know: "this driver can play 2.1, so please acitvate the modulator properties option"???

I hope someone can help me.

Bye,

Cheiz

to edit sf2.1 soundfonts you need the vienna version from the audigy platinum CD.

its newer then the one on creative site.
seach the web maybe you find a ripped version.

have fun

I'm sure the Vienna version is not the problem, since I used my version (2.3) with APSLive also, using SF 2.1 with modulator properties. I'll look for a rip but I don't think it will help. I'm just searching where Vienna gets the information about the SF Support number but i can't find it anywhere... Maybe someone knows which DLL is responsable fot this, maybe i can replace it with a Audigy SF dll??!
