Could use some help...

Hey folks. New poster here...

I just got an E-Mu APS. I've installed everything necessary, but cannot get it to play MIDI files. .WAVs play fine, and in the kX mixer window, it shows that 2GMGMST soundfont IS loaded in bank1. I have tried using Synth and Synth 2, but no joy. This is in both Cubasis and WINAmp.

Any Ideas? Thanks,

PS: AMD Athlon 950 w/128 Meg O'RAM

PPS: There's one other thing, kinda interesting: In Cubasis, the metronome does make a sound, but nothing else does. Thanks again.

Try loading the soundfont in Bank 0 not 1.
