The wait is over -- because we're knocking down the wall! Now with Windows Live Messenger, you can talk to your Yahoo! contacts. As part of this Windows Live Messenger release, we would like to give you an opportunity to be part of the exclusive Managed Beta group. By joining this group you will have the ability to submit bugs, take part in the exclusive newsgroups and communicate directly with Windows Live Messenger product team engineers. If anything goes the version in you're link is 8.0.0792.00.This was released nearly a month ago.

I'm presuming the link in the original thread is for the next or future live messanger version?
