patch for ps3 ignores biggest issue

Gamers with 1080i-only sets have been clamoring for Sony to remedy the scaling situation on PlayStation 3, as game like [COLOR=#0000ff]Resistance: Fall of Man[/COLOR] have forced them to play in the non-HD resolution of 480p, rather than logically scaling down to 720p.
Sony snuck version 1.3 firmware upgrade online last night to the worldwide masses, but while the patch attempts to make prioritizing resolution changes easier, it only makes it more difficult for 720p users and doesn't fix the actual scaling issue itself......
