Super Bowl viewing OK on big screens according to NFL
Source: http://www.tgdaily.com/2007/02/03/nfl_church_party_ok/
____________ The National Football League is now giving the thumbs up to churches who want to show the Super Bowl on extra large television screens. In the past weeks, the league has gone after churches and threatened legal action to stop Super Bowl viewing on greater than 55-inch television sets. The league now says such viewings are OK as long as no admission fee is charged. Several churches across the nation recently scrapped their Super Bowl party plans after being threatened by the NFL. Some of the churches had wanted to charge an admission fee, while others presumably would have taken a donation.

Who gets hired as the PR agent for this league?
I'm stunned sometimes that these boneheads get to keep their jobs. Oh man. |

It's funny, once they put their big fat foot in their mouth, they need to use extremely general terms to make it look like they are back-tracking on their previous statements. In reality, they don't seem to be changing anything accept now their wording is more general, which can be interpreted to mean almost anything.
