AMD cuts to the core with 'Bulldozer' Opterons
Fruehe says that a pair of Bulldozer "cores" will yield about 1.8 times the performance of what a single, whole core would have. AMD will probably see a bunch of raised eyebrows about this 10 per cent performance hit at first.
