Koolance Recall Notice

Koolance has issued a recall on one of their HDD coolers. Here is the text of an email I received today:

----------------

Dear Valuable Customer,

Koolance is notifying all customers of a recall issued on Hydra-Pak Hard Drive
Coolers (model HD-50-L06) purchased between February 1, 2005, and March 31,
2005. If you have purchased this product within the specified time period,
please visit www.koolance.com/recall for more information. Your product will be
repaired at no charge.

Koolance has encountered a potential problem with the internal nozzle mount of
some HD-50-L06 coolers. If damaged during assembly, this piece may develop a gap
in the nozzle and subsequent coolant leak.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you. We will do our
best to expedite the return of your product in perfect working order.

Sincerely,
Koolance, Inc.
