"Taking quick action after it missed its first quarter earnings number, IBM on Wednesday announced it plans to cut between 10,000 and 13,000 jobs worldwide as part of a major reorganization of its management structure."

Know what gets me about IBM? Every year they go on a hiring spree. They hire thousands of people, then 1 year later, fire thousands. Every year it's the same thing, almost like clockwork. This time though 10,000 - 13,000 in management. Guess it was time to shaft the shafters, right?
