Pentium M better than P-4, and arguably better than Atlon 64

Tom's hardware using an Asus converter has tested the Pentium-M on desktop parts and their results say that the P-M is possibly the best single core CPU out there.

That's changing also, my laptop is a p-m with PCI-x graphics, it shouldn't be to far away before desktops support the same, especially the way the p-m is showing to perform lately, and with the p-4 showing that it's on it's way out (power hungry POS).

Let's just hope it doesn't get to Intel's head and have them ruin it like they did with their P4 line.

System Specs

AnandTech has a full review of PC Club's "Silencer" system a while back. It is no longer in production because the vendors stopped supplying us with the MoBo that went with the system.
