Windows 7 Beta 1

With Windows 7 being released to the public tomorrow I'm interested in giving it a try. (I currently have Vista installed.)

My question is this: I has a Mac Pro and have Vista 32-bit installed on a separate drive. I held off on the 64-bit version because I was fearful of compatibility issues with games. But being on a 64-bit system I'd really like to use a 64-bit OS.

A friend was mentioning he plans to stay with the 32-bit versions for the foreseeable future because of compatibility issues with games running in 64-bit: they won't work. It was my understanding most games did work in a 64-bit environment.

So my question to all you Windows gurus is this: will games released within the last few years play in a 64-bit Windows? Will DosBox run? Or is it safer to stick with the 32-bit version of Windows since the only thing I really do in Windows is play games?

I'm using Vista 64 bit on a PC and I have had no problems with any games, well no more problems than the ones I used to have on 32bit XP. Not sure about the Mac side though, is your Mac Intel or Apple hardware?

It's an Intel-based Mac. You can't use Boot Camp or dual boot with Windows if you have the PowerPC hardware.
