Can't installed Open Office or Word 2002

Is there any word doc works with win 7 yet?

i'd assume office 2007 works as well on Win7 as it does Vista, but I don't have win7 to confirm

Yes, Office 07 will work on Win7 and all updates can be received via Windows Update. I can't confirm if Open Office will work but I would be surprised if it didn't. The only problems I've ran into for programs not running are Virtual CD drives but that's most likely related to a driver issue and not the application itself. I'm running Win7 x64 at home as a dual boot.

Office 2007 working fine here on the 64 bit version ... open office I can't confirm Robert I don't use it man.

I can't afford new office program

I want word 2002 lol. Please let me know if any other free word works on win 7

I have looked around a bit and some have claimed Open Office works fine. I haven't had a chance to get back on Windows 7 this week but will try it out on the weekend.

OpenOffice.org works fine. As an aside, Wordpad now supports many formats, including ODT.
