CCC 9.1 and Win 7

Well, I tried installing Vista x64 9.1 Cats in one of my Win 7 x64 partitions.

I had previously tried the Win 7 beta drivers from the ATI site, but they always failed to install.

I'm happy to report that the Vista 9.1s DID install, and not only that CCC is working for me as well!

I will note the mkk has reported the he installed the 9.1s successfully as well, but in his case CCC is NOT working.

What about OpenGL? Does it work, yet?

i've been using the 8.10's/8.11/8.12s and now hte 9.1's in win7 x64...

everything is working... a few oddities here and there mind you.. but 3D apps working great for me.

ok.. will give it a try as soon as i get setup again with win7...

i JUST wiped win7 off one of the i7 920's i had here as these machines are ready to head out the door soon.

I'm currently stuck on a intel P4 2.6ghz 1gb ram....x1600

Nice! That made me run a session of DriverCleaner.NET and now CCC in 9.1 is working here too. Something simply got a bit jumbled previously here.

I'm having problems running IL2 1946 on OGL, but it runs fine in DX mode. I'll be playing with it some more. I remember that with a past driver or two that OGL didn't like the "Edge Detect" Filter setting, so I'll try some of the others to see if that makes a difference.

are these drivers wddm 1.1 or 1.0 ?

did you tried with last 9.2 drivers? do they work, including ccc?

I've had problems with 9.2 on win7 x64, because on my laptop with amd puma and hd3200-hd3650 powerXpress didn't work anymore (it recognize only hd3200)
