Ramdisk? & sound starts to crakle after long uptime.
Hi!
Trying to find a (preferably) freeware ramdisk application for windows 7 (64-bit). So far Ive been out of luck. Gabeest ramdisk might work, who knows but windows 7 wont let me install drivers for undetected hardware. Also I have big problems with audio. My Sounblaster2 card wont work good at all. Sound distorts after about 3-30min of continious playing audio. All random verry anoying. All my audio cards starts getting stuttering/crakling sound after my computer been up for a day or so. This applies to my onboar audio (realtek HD) and M-audio delta 44. Only way to fix it are by rebooting. A bit anoying. Newer encountered this symptom in winxp or vista using same hardware. |

Re: Ramdisk? & sound starts to crakle after long uptime.
I quit with Win7 after about a week.... could never get the sound to work right. MS drivers would BSOD and the KXdrivers for my Audigy ran but it was all distorted for music and KX mixer would not run.
The windows sounds were okay, anything else was about half volume and crackly..... I never found a workaround.
