First offical Windows 7 AMD graphics driver

AMD has released their first offical Windows 7 driver

Grab them from the AMD site

X64Bit

32Bit

Installed well, although I was surprised to see a WHQL driver which could not be digitally ID'd during the installation. Oh well, it's all still part beta with Win7. Apart from a video acceleration problem until after a reboot(something that I've encountered a few times before), it's been fine.

what video card are you using.. cause anything less then a HD2000 series card won't work.... and the only thing to do is try and see if the drivers recognize..

meanwhile for the time being i'm kinda stuck with a x1900xtx which is more then powerful enough for win7.... but.... no support

I have Visiontek HD2600 AGP Pro 512 DDR2

works fine with 9.4 agp hot fix from vista.

Intel ATOM powered netbooks like the Acer Aspire One among other things. They actually run WIN 7 quite well which was something of a suprise

so does the vista 9.3s work for the 1900xtx on win7 then

wouldn't install....

but i haven't tried hard enough yet
