Re: intel p35 chipset

Currently Windows 7 RC has all the needed drivers built in. So no need for drivers. Do note that Windows 7 is still in development stage.

When i switched from vista to Win7 RC1,The first thing i noticed was the inclusion of my chipset drivers.Which was a good inclusion (and they are the latest set available) .

So i can safely presume 7RC1 includes a good variety of drivers.

Re: intel p35 chipset

also considering.. that the installer usually won't bother installing any drivers..

the latest driver pack 1014 i think it is.... you have to manually install the drivers through the hardware device manager. Extract the concents of the 1014 pack and then using the device manager, update driver, browse to the folder, and it'll auto install the best/latest driver.

You have to do this manually for alot of the hardware devices, system devices.... i noticed that there seemed to be alot of PCI to PCI Bridge or whatever and using my method... i got it straightened out....

Re: intel p35 chipset

ok thanks for the replies. I got everything working except those pci to pci bridge you said judas. I'm gonna try manually install drivers like you said. Btw what does pci to pci bridge exactly does because everything works fine. The only problem is that intels monitoring program cant detect any sensors and i use real temp for temp monitoring

Re: intel p35 chipset

that was an example.. there are saposed to be pci to pci bridges... but not as many as there are listed

if your running RC win7 .. i wouldn't be worried about it atm.. as the latest rc already included fairly recent and properly labeled drivers
