Re: just installed win7 64 australia
hmm well you will have problems with flash sites when you DON'T have flash player installed obviously....
and I consider Audigy2 an "ancient" sound card (I had it 6 years ago at least... and sold it for pennies) so I understand most complaints about a new improved operating system will come from people with much much older hardware... |

Re: just installed win7 64 australia
I've seen it here with Microsoft's supplied Audigy drivers....... first reboot once the install was finished.

Re: just installed win7 64 australia
I use them with the KX drivers here, for music recording/mixing. Not in Win7, I tried it and got it working but I'm staying with my present OS with my gear.

there are many people out there whom are converting from xp to win7 so they wouldnt of experienced vista with all its glory ie...explorer8 crashing just cause of the flash player audigy2 value cards well yes they are "ancient" but hey, why throw it away for an xfi when thet pretty much do the same job that just sounds silly to me

Re: just installed win7 64 australia
heh well the problem with Audigy2 cards with a newer OS like Windows 7 is that Creative will most likely not support it with new drivers because they will want Audigy2 users to upgrade.
Same thing happened with Logitech's webcams and Vista... no driver support for those that did not have the "VISTA READY!" sticker on it when purchased. |

Re: just installed win7 64 australia
What?
Logitech webcams i've never had a problem with. I've such an OLD webcam that is logitech.. that it was one of the first logitech usb webcams you could get.. i think it's over 11 years old now.. and it works flawlessly in vista and win7.... both in 32bit and 64bit

Re: just installed win7 64 australia
Creative do have support for windows 7 and audigy soundblaster cards - I've been through it all before. At first win7 didnt recognise the card but after a few restarts and a bit of a fiddle all was well

Re: just installed win7 64 australia
After Vista came out and the crap support Creative had for that, I quit using them altogether and don't plan on ever going back. I bought a ASUS Xonar card and couldn't be more happier with it.
