Setting up new user profile..

hmmm I generally have a c:\ drive for OS and D:\ for everything else. User's profile, I generally map to the D:\ drive for the sole purpose of the OS getting corrupted by a virus or stupidity. I noticed that XP has in the Documents folder, the Pictures folder, the Music folder, the Downloads folder and everything else all in the DOCUMENTS folder. Is there any reason what so ever in either Vista or Win 7 to seperate this and make it MORE of a pain in the ass to move to a larger drive in ONE folder and then seperate it?

I'm trying to see the logic in this and I can't...... The download folder maybe, but at the least, make that it's own vm drive WITHIN the documents folder so that it gets moved along with everything else yet doesn't corrupt everything if it's infected... I don't see the need for anything else.

For me, setting up a new user and putting thier profiles on a seperate drive is more of a pain in the ass then before...or am I just setting this up wrong?
