Firefox 3.6 on windows 7 ?

I have Firefox 3.6 windows 7 Firefox 3.6 cuts off things on many sites but on ie explorer it is good I tryed resalution did not work I was told that theses steps could work ? will it? # Close down Firefox completely: At the top of the Firefox window, click the File menu, and select the Exit
#
In Windows, click
Start
, open the All Programs list, and navigate to the Mozilla Firefox folder. In the Mozilla Firefox folder, select Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)...
Firefox should start up with a Firefox Safe Mode dialog.

# In the Firefox Safe Mode window, select Reset toolbars and controls.

Re: Firefox 3.6 on windows 7 ?

By cut off things do you mean half of the page isn't visible?

Loading it up in safemode can't hurt...give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Re: Firefox 3.6 on windows 7 ?

I'm using FireFox 3.6.3 and Windows 7 x64. There are no problems using FF and Windows 7 on my end. There is nothing being cut off on the sides. In fact, WEB pages scale to fit the size of the browser window I create.

Are you having problems with THIS site?

I can even use CTRL and my Mouse Wheel to scale the text/image sizes just fine without cutting off anything on the sides.

If you're having problems with only CERTAIN sites, it could be that those sites are not coded properly to scale within the size of the browser window.

It would be interesting to know what sites that is. I've never experienced anything like it either so I'd like to test a bit and see.

I wish people wouldn't post the same question all over other places on the forum.

Yes, and, as is my habit, whenever a noob comes around and asks questions and then is absent for days on end, I'll check their post count and see if they've posted on other forums. In many cases, I find that's what they've done. It IS very irritating!!!
