safemode?
i need to get in to safe mode because I set the refresh too high and now I can't use my monitor.
I've tried pressing F8 but it does nothing.. ![]() Anyone help?

You need to press F8 at the right point:
During boot-up, the second screen (give or take) will give you info saying that it's verifying components. Press F8 a few times at this point and you should be presented with the various boot options (the top one of which will be Safe Mode).

Perhaps you have the same type of keyboard as I do, with an F Lock key you need to press before the F1-F12 keys are active.. if not they're multimedia keys...

You might have "Enable USB Support" in your BIOS disabled. I think it's under Advanced options (depending on the manufacturer).
Then again, some wireless keyboards (Bluetooth, for example) don't work until you're in Windows.
