RealTek HD Audio Manager Pop-Up Warning
I'm puzzled as to just where to actually post this. It could be Hardware, Software, AMD Video Drivers, but I decided to post it here as it may get more attention.
Beginning about a week ago I started getting a pop-up error message with my RealTek HD Audio Manager telling me that something has been unplugged. I've not physically unplugged anything! What I've tried to do is to Disable all but the main RealTek HD Audio device. It still happens. I do recall reading somewhere that someone else was having problems with their audio device losing connection. But, I can't find that post now at all. So, is anyone else having this problem, and, more importantly, do you know what is causing it? Even after the warning comes up, I still DO have all the audio working as it is configured to do. So, I'm not actually losing any audio. Just this nagging popup in the middle of things. |

Re: RealTek HD Audio Manager Pop-Up Warning
It may not be jack sensing though (although turning that option off will get rid of the notices all you'd be doing is ignoring the problem). If this is on the rig in Dyre's specs it could be that Windows 7 is switching back and fourth between the HD6870s onboard audio and the mobos Realtek, or rather an application might be doing so.
First thing I would do is that if you don't use the audio on your video card you could try disabling it first in Device Manager, and if you still get the popup messages go with Judas' suggestion. |

Re: RealTek HD Audio Manager Pop-Up Warning
sorry i've been sick or something and i was interupted by a customer halfway through writing the post..
i was going to mention disabling ALL of the ATI Audio devices in the device manager.. As actually i beleive I started a thread at one point about finding out about my weird issues with delayed opening the sound control panel and weird issues after installing more then 1 ati video card.... and it got way worse with 3.... lol...

Re: RealTek HD Audio Manager Pop-Up Warning
I've installed the latest AMD WHQL 11.2 drivers earlier today. We'll see how it goes.
AND, at this point, ALL of the audio devices are Enabled. EDIT: That should be 11.2. Updated.

Re: RealTek HD Audio Manager Pop-Up Warning
I probably should have posted this to begin with:
![]() As stated previously, I've re-enabled them all. So far, after two days, I haven't had the error pop-up again. Before this, it was happening 3-4 times per day. |

Re: RealTek HD Audio Manager Pop-Up Warning
The problem has started up again. <sigh>
Twice now when I've come back to the computer after being away for a few hours, the first thing that greets me when the screen comes alive is the RT Audio Manager. Back to the troubleshooting.... |

Re: RealTek HD Audio Manager Pop-Up Warning
I had to register to say I'm also having this problem! Sound still works after it says the unplugged message, just is annoying!
I'll post if I find a fix. |
