Dear Experts,

please educate me on how svchot.exe works which i think is the reason behind slowing my pc's loading up. I have Windows 7 with 32-bit, everytime i log on it will take more than 10 minutes before it load the windows. Boothing sometime is slow.

svchot.exe is part of malware that is trying to cheat you to be svchost.exe one of the core processes of windows 7. I recommend you to do full scan with good AV software and if that won't help get bootable CD that has AV solution that can remove the malware.

Out of curiosity what does this malware do exactly?

Well it's a Trojan that allows spammers to use the host PC as mail server and for DoS attacks. The file does have some references to Asia, same type of malware that reported in the news
