Quicktime Issues

I use Quicktime as I like to watch Apple's trailers.

Lately, whenever I try to view a trailer in HD it tells me that it's an invalid URL. I could cope with that while I tried to find a fix for it. Now, I can't even view the SD video on the webpage.
Playing media content in Quicktime works fine and its file associations were restored but it still has this issue. I've already tried uninstalling it then re-installing it but that didn't make a single difference.

Is there anything else that I could try?
