Hi everybody, I'm from Indonesia. It's really nice to find out about this forum of nice and trustworthy people. I really would like to know about installing a copy of win 7 ultimate safely and soundly to my asus f5vl laptops. I have done it but it seems to be coping up with problems after problems. the first is the x2300 ati vga drivers, then when i try to burn my dvd project, the Win DVD Maker crashed, I can't do it with Nero as well, even my corel video studio pro x2 can't render nor it can burn the given project. I really would appreciate any help that can be instructed for my system here, any suggestions at all will be largely appreciated... God Bless U all...

I don't have a laptop, so, I'm not the best person to try to help. But, this one thing I do know: Unless you can acquire Windows 7 drivers for the MOTHERBOARD for your laptop from ASUS, you're likely beating your head against a wall. I read report after report after report of people having problems trying to install anything above Windows XP onto systems that did not have updated system drivers.

So, check with ASUS whether or not there are any system drivers for W-7 for that motherboard.
