Please Help Me Fine Tune My 3D Settings

I wasn't sure if I should have posted in the Gaming Forum or here. If I choose the wrong I apologize. I'm playing a game called Silent Hunter IV and can't seem to get the 3D settings correct to get the most out of my 8800 GTX. Below are the setting as I currently have them.

Anisotropic Filtering - 16x

Antialiasing - Gamma Correction - On

Antialiasing - Mode - Enhance the application setting

Antialiasing - Settings - 16x

Antialiasing - Transparency - Supersampling

Conformant tecture clamp - off

Error Reporting - off

Extension limit - On

Force Mipmaps - Trilinear

Multi-display/mixed-GPUacceleration - Compatibility performance mode

Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample option - on

Texture Filtering - Negative LOD bias - Allow

Texture Filtering - Quality - High Quality

Texture Filtering - Trilinear optimization - off

Threaded optimization - Auto

Triple Buffering - on

Vertical sync - Use the 3d application setting

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

System Specs

- using the nvidia control panel, i have all 3d settings on max high quality with my 8800GTX.
- if ya check tool tips , at the bottom of the 3d settings page, it gives you hints as to which is for performance or quality.

- Go for the IQ....theres nothing this card can't handle in any of todays games at max quality settings and a 22" monitor@ max resolution.

** ps , the new P30 BIOS has some nice fixes for your mobo also
