Question about a problem with latest omegadrivers...

I have 2x NGeforce 8600 256Mb SLI, they came inside the computer they bought me. I have tried to remove preinstalled drivers and installed the latest omegadrivers, vista 32bit drivers but when i reboot instead of seeing windows stuff the screen is black. I have had to recover a previous system restore point to get computer back to work.
I am a total noob about this can someone redirect me about any solutions? I always used omegadrivers on old ATI card and would like to have them too now.

first, what are your computer specs, and is this made by a third party company?

and lastly which version of omega drivers are you using exactly ?

It's an Inter Core2 Quad 6600 2.4Ghz from Packard Bell with 3gb ram and 2xGefo 8600GS SLI.
I tried to install the Nvidia Omega Drivers 1.169.25 (Forceware 169.25).
At the comp is using Forceware 167.32 from Packardbell auto update system.
I was trying to test the others because i will soon format and remove PB shit and need a working driver!

I had the exact same problem with the Vista Omega Drivers. I uninstalled the previous drivers and rebooted and there was a blank screen, so I restarted the PC, and went in to safe mode and installed the drivers there.

Rebooted PC again, and works fine, with drivers working fine.
