Regarding CUDA
Original nv_disp.inf holds only entries for G2x0 series, therefore help yourself...
Check out Timeout Detection and Recovery of GPUs through WDDM before trying CUDA SDK samples. Especially those with graphical output can cause a BSOD, the SDK 2.0 is labeled as BETA for a reason! E.g. "FluidsD3D" crashes on launch, "FluidsGL" works. "Mandelbrot" crashes after a while. ![]()

Limitations in This Release
The following are features that are not currently supported or have limited support in this driver release: •NVIDIA SLI Antialiasing (???? wtf ???) •NVIDIA SLI Mode for GeForce 6800 Ultra and GeForce 6800 GT •INF Support for Restricted Timings This driver version does not support the use of Restricted Timing settings (R&T strings) in the INF to control mode validation and/or mode setting for custom mode/adapter/monitor combinations. This capability is planned for a later driver release. (nvidia.. just bloody well remove this already. You've been saying this exact thing in every driver release since the 100 series drivers came out. We get it already. "someday" you "may" add support for it) |
