EVGA Drivers; Better than generic ones?

I tried asking on a few other sites but never had a clear answer. Some say there's a really big difference with the drivers that are available from the EVGA web site, other say it's not worth it because they're not the latest version.

So my question is if I have a EVGA 9800GT Superclocked + should I use the drivers from EVGA or from nVidia?

I guess they must be different since the filename is not the same, but would like a definitive answer.

The EVGA drivers are Nvidia's drivers. Perhaps they just haven't updated them on the disk or website. You should always go to Nvidia's website and use the latest drivers available for your card.

So it's not true when people say they are tweaked versions of the vanilla drivers?

Alright thanks for the answer. Also do you guys know a place to discuss overclocking GPUs like I have? I'm wondering a few things like how to get temperature from RivaTuner(I looked around but the how-to's were for older versions and didn't match what I was seeing at all), or what the max core and memory I can go to before seeing artifacts(Shader clock under EVGA Precision seems to give me artifacts in games if I go to as low as 30 mhz above default).

Correct, they are not tweaked drivers.
As far as discussing overclocking gpu's you can start a thread Here

Ah of course. Sorry I'm new here and didn't scroll down enough in the forums page.
