Re: GeForce/ION Driver Release 191.07 WHQL (Vista/Win 7)
I've had NOTHING but issues with this release. I rolled back to the 190 release.

Elaborate please ? For me (on a fresh Vista 64 Bit install) they run fine.

While playing COD5, I received several errors that stated the display driver had stopped working. After reinstalling the 190 release, my issues disappeared.

Re: GeForce/ION Driver Release 191.07 WHQL (Vista/Win 7)
Same thing here on a clients machine with Bioshock and Vista x64. Even with the previous 191.03 drivers it did the same thing. Most games run fine, but Bioshock keeps black screening, then dumping back to Windows with the same "Display driver has stopped working" error. Going back to 190.38 seems to have settled things down for him.
Funny thing is these seem to work fine here on Windows 7 x64. |

Re: GeForce/ION Driver Release 191.07 WHQL (Vista/Win 7)
Nothing but problems for me, and it seems that I am not alone. I have returned to the 190.38s, even though I hate rolling back drivers. My question is: if these drivers are buggy for many people, why are they still recommended in Windows Update? Won't this just cause more problems for Microsoft?
EDIT: Should have been more clear with my problems! Game crashes and lock-ups occur much more often it seems (as opposed to previous WHQL sets). Also, that annoying, "Display driver has stopped working" problem which disables Aero. I haven't yet had the Aero crashes on my return to 190.38.
