Are omegadriveers dead?

I would like to know if there be an omegadriver for windows7?

I honestly have no idea, I haven't heard from Angel in a long time. I know his wife was ill - I think he even posted that on his front page.

They're definitely suspended until further notice upon reading his page, I assume stuff got "real". I am pretty sure with the changes to the ATI and nvidia drivers that optimizations aren't what they use to be either. His page is still up however @ omegadrivers.net We haven't heard from him in a while (as Zardon noted) and his last post was June of 2008.

There are some third party drivers, I think killersneak is still making some. Not sure if they are any good....

The driver modding scene seems to be dying to be honest - well in regards to graphics cards anyway. To be fair the official ATI and Nvidia drivers are very strong in 2009.
