Re: GeForce/ION Driver Release 195.62 WHQL (Vista/Win7)
Serious sam HD would randomly become not respnsive under the 195.55 Betas.. For Win 7 64 bit.
So far this has not occured under this whql set.. So far this is a very good set.. |

Re: GeForce/ION Driver Release 195.62 WHQL (Vista/Win7)
nvidia FAIL again.
Still will not support physx if an ati card is primary. AND nvidia has forcefully prevented a driver mod which allowed users to install the 191.07 drivers and then mob they using Glen's physx mod which will allow an nvidia product to remain fully compliant and capable of dilivering ppu acceleration while ati card is provided as primary at all times (ZERO hassle doing this) ORB - Compare as an example.... fire up and do anything you like.. works flawlessly. *sigh* Nvidia... get your shit together already

Re: GeForce/ION Driver Release 195.62 WHQL (Vista/Win7)
Is it just me or are Nvidia's display drivers for Windows 7 still sub-par? I feel that framerates aren't what they were as compared to Windows XP (with DX9, of course). Also, I encounter weird problems, i.e. some games will lockup every so often for a few seconds, so I'll alt+tab back into the game and the problem corrects itself. Not to mention Aero still disables every so often and re-enables by itself. Why this happens, I have no idea.
Everyone keeps saying the recent driver sets have been great but I've experienced quite the opposite. Does anyone else feel the way I do?
