Hi,
my problem is that theatre and overlay settings in ATI Tray Tools 1.3.6.1009 don't work. I'm using Vista x64 and I want to have my video/DVD/DVB-S media to be fullscreened on my TV (connected via TV-Out for sure) while minimizing the player so i can do something else on my PC. Plz can someone help me? Popopinsel |

ATI has changed a tlo fo things in Vista drivers . Thats why ATT still doesn't have good support for TV out under Vista.

I have a X1800XT and use CCC. I can't enable extended mode when I enable TV-Out.
But, if I enable my TV-Out by picking clone mode. Then swop screen mapping round. Then enable extended mode. Then swap the mapping again... it works fine. Also, I have no componant output. Has this been disabled in Vista? I used to have the options in XP to play HD content via componant on to my TV. I've always used the centre round YPbPr componant cable. But now with Vista this nolonger gives out the same signal. The HD support in CCC has gone too where you could choose 720p or 1024i support. I don't know how much of this is Vista's fault and how much is ATI's lack of good drivers. The output issues coupled with the 147+ demoscene demos that won't run anymore (and I'm still testing), I'm now wishing I'd never updated to Vista. I thought upgrading to Vista Ultimate was a step forward, but seems I would have been better off keeping XP
