Cannot change color settings

Help, i'm running the Cat 7.3's and I cannot change my Color settings everything is grayed out. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, when Vista boots, the screen is nice and bright until around 5-10 seconds after Vista comes up, the display dims a little bit... this is why i want to change the gamma settings

I dont remember this happening with 7.2 and before

Did you try clicking "reactivate colour controls" (or something like that) on the same page in the CCC?

Also, you dont happen to have any program that changes colours set to start at bootime?

hey X1800XTTOP, thanks for the reply . i didn't see anything called "reactivate colour controls".. but I do use ATI Tool on startup. (0.27 beta 1).. I went in there and it let me take control of Gamma Settings ... strange stuff indeed

Re-activate colour controls is only in the CCC.

Hey Spyre I've looked everywhere in the CCC for it and don't see it.. which tab is it supposed to be under

Oh I forgot to mention its not in Vista yet, sorry I didnt read you were using that OS.

For anyone else that encounters this problem, i've assigned a Hotkey in ATI Tools to enable the Gamma Control everytime the Cat's shut it off... it seems to shut it off after bootup and once i start a new game

I'm running Vista Ultimate, 7.3 Hotfix Cats (it was happening with the non Hotfix too), Asus x800xt AGP
