Laptop screen flicker???

Hi, I'v just installed Vista, but only to find out that my laptop display is killing my eyes. The effect is like a 60hz frequency setting on crt monitor.
Any suggestions? I'm A+, CCNA, MSCA, etc. so the basic steps are not neccessary (like remove all drivers, clean registry and reinstall them, done already those).
