ATI and Vista
have a gigabyte GA-K8USC-939 board with nvidia chip set. i am running a FX-60 CPU running 2 gigs of 400 ram. video card is a radion 1650 x pro.with 512 memory can not get video card to work with windows vista business.i have tried ati's latest drivers and vista will not reconise drivers and shows the card working at 32 mgs if i force xp drivers it will show card working at 512 but Avlivo and Catalyst will not work. i have tried all combinations i could think of and can not get this card to work.my old card was nvidia chipset with 512 memory and vista showed it running at 756 and worked perfect but that card went out and i bought the ati.and now i am running xp pro. but would rather have vista.

Since this is Vista-related, I'm going to move your trouble report to the appropriate forum. Good luck and I hope someone can help you get it working. |

Did you upgrade from XP to vista or was it a fresh install?

for avivo install try installing microsoft drivers
i did that on my pc cuz the avivo drivers from catalist did not work for me. you go on update driver then use option search from digitaly signed driver. go to ati technology and searc for your card. i m 100% that you will find it in there try the same way to install the drivers for the card. did some tests and the microsoft drivers are not so bad |
