Radeon X1300 problems

Well, the ATI webpage wont let me on anything support related, so I will ask here.
I installed the ATI Catalyst Control Center, drivers, etc. for my comp. I have windows Vista Ultimate. Now, before the instalation, everything was fine, I just wanted to see the difference from the Microsoft drivers. During the instal. the screen got darker, which never went away. Now, everything goes slower, especially games, to the point were they are un playable. The Device Manager tells me I dont have any drivers installed. The System Information tells lists video controler under problem devices and tells me there is no drivers, but the ATI control center is more then willing to tell me a lot of garbage about itself. This hapened to me a few months back, so I just ignored it and switched back to microsoft drivers. Any idea whats wrong?
Also, it lists my bus setting as PCI Express, but it is just a PCI card in the Catalyst Control Center

Aaaand now it tells me that my system score went from my old 3.6 to 2.0 because of my graphics card change.......
