Voted Hell Yeah!
I have them almost ready btw, just need to add some chipsets, update them to Cat 7.11 and test if they install correctly, after that is the first beta release.
Btw, these will be the drivers only with ATT, no CCC as I can't afford to make a package that big.

w00t great news thanks for all the hard effort you put in Omega. I recently updated to Vista myself on my 2nd PC and know the benefits your drivers gave over ATI standard lol. Going back to them was a real pain. GL in releasing Beta 1. Hopefully it will be soon Cant wait to grab them and give them a whirl ^_^

Great work Omega!!

I had to register just to congrats Omega for being such a damn fine person for the gaming community and humanity in general I badly need Omega drivers for Vista because XP was behaving badly for me and Catalyst official drivers just aren't good enough for racing games. Please no CCC. It doesn't allow manual clocking on MacBook Pros and other mobiles like your wonderful rendition of ATT.

How soon before we can offer ourselves as beta testers?

Nice work on the new site design Omegadrive, and on the NVidia drivers (although I have been an ATI/AMD only guy for the last two major builds). I'll continue to eagerly await Vista 64 support for my HD3870!

I love the new site and its far more responsive than the old one. About to do a new build of the wifes XP machine which will get my current X1950XTX so that will certainly be getting the most recent omegas.

Will have to wait for nvidia vista64 for my new machine. 8800GTS SLI on Vista 64 ultimate.

Keep up the good work Omega.

Hi,

Omegadrive... is there any chance that you can make the combination of Ati AGP Card + DualCore CPU + Nforce3 Chipset + Vista work? Currently, there's no way to make an Ati AGP Card work if you have this (quite common) combination. According to Ati, it's Nvidias fault (Nforce3 AGP Bus Driver or something), but maybe a little driver hack could do the trick...

Regards
Boergen

Unfortunately if the problem is the nforce drivers holding back the AGP features of ATI drivers/cards, there is not much we can do about it, on the other hand, if the problem is ATI's buggy AGP support (like the one we see in the XP drivers) on latest drivers, is on ATI's hands to fix the AGP problem.
Nothing I can do in any case.

Btw, yes I'm working on the Vista drivers for ATI, but ATI changed so much settings from their XP drivers I'm basically reconstructing the driver 1 card at a time to make sure they are as good as my XP drivers on first release.
