Which ATI Driver Version Should I Use

I've been away from ATI for awhile and I will be going back to ATI with my latest computer upgrade. I'm going to be using two HIS HD 3870 Turbos in Crossfire mode and am wondering what the best driver package from ATI is best to use?

JohnDoe47 is an unknown quantity at this point

I believe the HD series of graphic cards have stuttering issues at the moment. There is a fix but Catalyst 8.4 is due for release very soon. Wait for 8.4
