toshiba M209 hd2400 vista sp1 problem

hello,
i recently installed vista ultimate sp1 on my friend toshiba satellite M209 laptop which has ati hd2400, after install windows recognise it as standard vga graphic adapter.
i tried to install the driver using catalyst 8.6 but no luck and i relly don't know what to do.
Any suggestions.

Try download the driver from Acer Computer Singapore
Most of the Hd 2400 xt are OEM's and are "crippled" as requested by the manufacturer.

Or you go to Acer Europe - Service & Support, Drivers & Utilities, Downloads, Notebook, Aspire 4920
and under MS Windows Vista SP1-> Drivers and Utilities then select VGAdriver_ATIMM66...
