crossfire issue: 30 fps feels like 15 fps!
Okay, this might be a driver issue or a game issue. I'm running two 4850's in crossfire. In Stalker Clear Sky 1.503 and Assassin's Creed 1.0 and 1.1 I get about half the frames as fraps is showing. Let me explain. Fraps says for instance 30 fps, but the game feels not fluid, it feels more like 15 frames. And when fraps says for instance 50fps it feels like 20-30 fps, simply not as fluid as 50fps should feel like. Normally this gets solved by enabling vsync in the game, but for acreed and clear sky it doesn't work! Very frustrating. I'm on ccc 8.8 now and enabling vsync in ccc doesn't fix it. Is there anyone else who experiences the same issue?

Fixed it!!!
Apparently it was a vsync problem. Rivatuner 2.10 comes with a separate application called D3DOverrider. If you force disabled triple buffering and force enabled vsync in dx9 and dx10 with that tool, then it suddenly works perfectly in Stalker Clear Sky. |
