Re: ATI Catalyst™ 8.10 Display Driver for Windows Vista

This "official" version is identical to the previous leak. So that means BIA Hells Highway still fails miserably in rain level on ATI cards

I guess I should give the Catalyst 8.11 RC1 (8.542) a go, they just appeared

Yeah but, they (ATI/AMD/WHATEVER) could have made it so cards OTHER than the newest 4000 series could be controlled (fan wise) by the drivers as well. Just another example of how ATI/AMD forgets about previous models and an entire population of people that don't have their "latest and greatest".

The drivers, as usual, suck... ATI has singlehandedly made me hate PC gaming... (NV isn't any better though) So much so, I went out and bought a PS3... I'd love to get back to gaming on the PC, but, I'm just tired of all the hoops that a person has to jump through just to get a few hours of gameplay in... AND the expense of buying new crap, just so it doesn't work, like the old crap... I'll check again in another 6 months, maybe they'll get it right by then??? Who am I kidding...
