Problem with catalyst install

I've been trying to install the modded drivers for my 3650 HD video card onto my new laptop with Vista32 but every time I try it with any version of the drivers it just says "Catalyst Install Manager failed to initialize Detection Manager" and if just just hit OK and try to keep going it just says "Failures occurred during installation" and gives me a link to a file that doesn't exist. It does the same thing when I try to uninstall the current drivers. Any help with be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Let Vista search for a suitable driver (driver update / device manager) - it may be a compatibility issue.

I Cant install the CCC its doing the same error all the time:"Catalyst Install Manager failed to initialize Detection Manager"

and i dont have the CCC on my computer
i cant install it

Drivercleaner

it's a $10 investment but usually helps in cases like yours
